JOHNSON, JACQULYN TUCKER "JACKIE"

Jacqulyn Tucker "Jackie" Johnson, 66, of Indian Springs Village passed away at her home Saturday, January 10, 2009 after a long illness. She was born in Fayette, AL on August 21, 1942, graduated from Tuscaloosa High, attended the University of Alabama. She was loved by all that knew her and prior to her retirement in 2004, she worked for State Farm insurance agents Jerome Sims, and Dean Pappas. Jackie is survived by her loving husband of almost 36 years, Arthur; mother, Marie Wallace; step-father, Tom Wallace; sister, Pinkie Bumgarner (Bob); step-sister, Marci Welker (Wes); aunt, Mary Lou Segars (Henry); uncle, J Q Trimm (Grace); aunt, Mary Lee Whitehead (Gorman); niece, Robin Metz (Troy); great-nephews, Chandler and Quinton Metz; Godchildren, Justin and Jennifer Smith; cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Lawrence "Buddy" Tucker. A memorial will be held at Southern Heritage on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. The family requests that any memorials be made to the United Methodist Children's Home or the charity of your choice.
